Job summary

Packers Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to plan, organize, develop, and direct OT services in a Wisconsin facility, ensuring high-quality resident care under applicable standards. Location: Suring, WI. Status: Full-Time with flexible scheduling or Per Diem/PRN.

The role involves screening, evaluation, goal setting, treatment planning, documentation, and supervision of COTA as needed. Active Wisconsin OT license required; degree in OT; ongoing continuing education to maintain

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular resident screenings to determine best intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents, families, and team members.
• Establish individual therapy schedules with the team.

Job description

Packers Staffing is hiring for an Occupational Therapist OT to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Location: Suring, WI

Status: Full-Time FT with flexible scheduling or Per Diem/PRN

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy

• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
