Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, and treat patients in Round Rock, Texas. The clinician will review records, establish goals, and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and function.

Collaboration with team members and supervision of OT Assistants are included in responsibilities. The position requires graduation from an accredited OT program and current Texas OT licensure, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes comprehensive evaluation using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence.
• Supervises OT Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and related activities.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and team members.
