Job summary

Ultimate Therapy seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Union, Union, NJ. This full-time OT role focuses on improving daily living skills and independence for residents.

The position offers an hourly rate of $42-$47, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), PTO, CE support, and a collaborative team environment with COTAs, PTs, SLPs, nurses and other staff.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey OT license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT plans of care.
• Provide skilled treatment focused on ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, cognition.
• Establish meaningful goals based on resident abilities and rehab needs.
• Introduce adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on resident response.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety and independence strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other team members.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Union. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a therapist who enjoys helping residents improve daily function, regain important skills, and work toward greater independence.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
• Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance
• Establish meaningful goals based on each resident's abilities and rehabilitation needs
• Introduce adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on resident response
• Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote safety and independence
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
