Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Union in Union, NJ. This full-time position offers a chance to help residents improve daily function and independence.

You will evaluate residents, develop OT plans of care, and work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. NJ licensure and strong clinical skills are required; new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• New graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance.
• Establish meaningful goals based on each resident's abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Introduce adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on resident response.
• Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Union. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a therapist who enjoys helping residents improve daily function, regain important skills, and work toward greater independence.

What You’ll Do
