Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Pearland, TX to evaluate, treat, and oversee therapy services for our patients. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, establish goals, and coordinate with patients and families to ensure progress toward independence.

The role requires current OT licensure, effective communication with the care team, and supervision of OT Assistants. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to perform responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and/or function.
• Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members.
