Job summary

Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody, MA, is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, weekend-focused role. The position offers $36.00–$52.00 per hour, based on experience, with 16 hours every other weekend.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans to improve independence, and providing OT interventions to support ADLs, mobility, balance, and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active MA Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies to promote safe, independent living.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation, monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
