Chelsea Jewish Lifecare Communities is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for the Brudnick Center for Living on a part-time, weekend-shift basis.

The role offers hourly pay between $36 and $52, based on experience, with additional weekend incentives to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active Massachusetts OT license.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
• Provide skilled OT interventions to enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and families to set goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies to promote safe, independent living.
• Complete timely documentation, monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies to promote safe, independent living.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation, monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards.

Qualifications for Success:

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active MA Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum 1-year experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
