Job summary

Puget Sound Care in Olympia, WA is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role at our care facility. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus or tuition reimbursement, paid quarterly in the first year, and a pay range of $50.00–$57.00 per hour DOE.

You will provide professional OT services, lead education and training activities, supervise, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support residents’ rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Washington OT license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Specialize in content areas such as hand specialty ergonomics, rehab tech, functional capacity exams, geriatrics, driver rehabilitation, home care, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical OT services.
• Lead education and training activities, clinical consultation, supervision, and administration.
• Apply a wide range of theories and methods in occupational therapy.

Pay Range: $50.00 - $57.00/HR DOE

What you will do:

• Provide professional clinical services
• Carry out education and training activities, clinical consultation, supervision, and administration
• Demonstrate professional knowledge and skills in applying a wide range of theories, principles, and methodologies of occupational therapy
• Collaborate with other members of the Interdisciplinary treatment teams

Must have:

• Must have valid Washington OT license that is in good standing
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Specialize in content areas such as hand specialty ergonomics, blind/visual rehabilitation assistance technology, functional capacity examination, polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health, driver rehabilitation, home based primary care, etc.
