Job summary

Delaware Bay Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our compassionate therapy team in Georgetown, DE. The role focuses on evaluating patients, designing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current OT certification in DE.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• Passion for geriatric care and rehabilitation.
• Creativity in problem-solving and activity adaptation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Develop creative, individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team.
• Provide hands-on therapy focusing on daily living skills and oversee COTA interventions.
• Guide patients in using adaptive equipment.
• Mentor and guide therapy staff.
