Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Ohio. The role involves working across inpatient and pediatric settings in a collaborative, patient-first environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing evidence-based plans of care, and supervising OT staff. Must have Ohio OT license and CPR certification. Monday–Friday schedule with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current, active Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required).
• Current CPR certification (required).
• Strong working knowledge of OT practices across inpatient and pediatric settings.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes.
• Provide care across the full age spectrum — neonate through geriatric.
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in both inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50 split).
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and facility policies.
• Apply critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain professional, courteous communication and customer service.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and departments.
• Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center.

Job Type: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM | Full-Time, 40 hrs. | 50% Peds / 50% Inpatient
