Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a community rehabilitation center in Ohio. This full-time role is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours with a 50/50 split between pediatrics and inpatient care.

Compensation is $38–$49 per hour plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus and solid benefits. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing evidence-based plans of care, supervising COTAs and OT students, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes.
• Provide care across neonate through geriatric populations.
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50 split).
• Supervise COTAs and OT students.
• Ensure compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and departments.
• Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes
• Provide care across the full age spectrum — neonate through geriatric
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in both inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50 split)
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students
• Ensure ongoing compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and facility policies
• Apply critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Maintain professional, courteous communication and customer service
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and departments
• Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Current, active Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Strong working knowledge of OT practices across inpatient and pediatric settings
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
• Commitment to patient safety and professional standards of practice
• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed
