Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital St. Louis is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time days shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Join a fast-paced team focused on high-quality patient care in a 90-bed rehabilitation setting.

We require a degree in OT, a current license to practice in the state, and CPR certification. The role emphasizes treatment planning, team communication, and adherence to regulatory standards, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Accepting new Grads.

Responsibilities

• Develop a specialized treatment plan to help him/her achieve as much as possible in regaining his/her well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital St. Louis is90-bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

How You'll Contribute:
