Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school setting in Centennial, CO. The OT will conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success while adapting materials for accessible instruction.

We welcome experienced school-based OTs and those transitioning into schools. This role offers a flexible schedule, W-2 employment, liability insurance, health benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Colorado State OT license.
• CDE Certification with Special Service Provider Endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.
