Valley Hill Health and Rehab in Hendersonville, NC seeks an Occupational Therapist to restore function for residents in a SNF setting. You will collaborate with the therapy team to reach physician and patient goals and educate on independent exercise and activity modification.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in OT and an active state license, plus basic computer skills to use EHR systems. Full-time and part-time options may be available.

Qualifications

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job is to return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patients, physicians, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.

• Must possess a current and valid license granted from state of employment.

• Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
