Job summary

Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL) seeks an Occupational Therapist to cover a LOA from late October to February. The role focuses on evaluating students, implementing OT services in educational settings, and supporting RTI and IEP goals.

The OT must hold a current IL license and will collaborate with district staff and the OT/PT Coordinator to develop and monitor interventions and goals for students.

Qualifications

• Current and valid OT license issued by the Illinois Department of Registration and Education.
• Experience in educational settings is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with district teams and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Screenings and evaluations to identify student needs.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and objectives with the educational team.
• Provide direct and indirect OT services per IEP decisions.
• Collaborate on RTI processes and program planning.
• Supervise a COTA and coordinate with OT/PT Coordinator.
