Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, Northwest Arkansas, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation team in Rogers, Arkansas. This PRN, days schedule offers opportunities to contribute to comprehensive patient care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support functional recovery.

You will perform evaluations, help develop treatment plans, and deliver interventions to improve motor skills and independence, while documenting progress and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with rehab documentation systems is preferred.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify functional needs and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence in daily living.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions that enhance motor skills, cognition, and adaptive abilities.
• Document patient progress with accuracy and clarity.
• Partner with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support patient success.
