Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient per diem coverage in Highland Park, IL. You will provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up for physician-referred patients, document records, and participate in student supervision.

The role requires IL OT licensure, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in OT, BLS/CPR, and inpatient experience. Per diem schedule; evenings and weekends as needed; compensation at $51/hour with shift differentials possible.

• License: IL OT license or eligibility.
• Certification: BLS/CPR required; NBCOT preferred.
• Experience: Inpatient OT experience required.

Position Highlights

Location: Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem

Hours: Hours as needed; 8am-4:30pm (as needed) per 6-week schedule

Required Travel: Highland Park, Skokie, Glenbrook, Evanston Hospitals

Holidays: yes, 1 summer/1 winter

Hourly flat rate of pay - $51/hour

What you will do

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need

• Education: Bachelor of Science from a school of Occupational Therapy or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university approved by the AOTA and the Council on Medical Education of the AMA
• License: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of IL
• Certification: BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association required, OTR certified (NBCOT preferred)
• Experience: Inpatient Occupational Therapy experience required
