Job summary

The Occupational Therapist at CHA Somerville Hospital joins a multidisciplinary clinical team to care for pediatric and adolescent patients in behavioral health units. Responsibilities include completing evaluations and delivering group and individual therapies on inpatient units.

Candidates should hold BS/MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy, MA OT licensure, and AHA BLS certification; a minimum of one year of OT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Inpatient child/adolescent behavioral health is preferred.
  • BS/MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy required; MA OT licensure.
  • AHA BLS certification required; minimum 1 year OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cares for patients as part of the multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Performs evaluations and provides group and individual therapy on pediatric inpatient behavioral health units.

The Occupational Therapist is part of the multidisciplinary clinical team caring for patients at the Somerville Hospital. The OT completes evaluations as well as providing groups and individual treatments on child, adolescent, neurodevelopmental inpatient behavioral health units.

Qualifications/Requirements:Inpatient child/adolescent behavioral health desired, BS/MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy, current MA OT licensure, and AHA BLS certification required; minimum of 1 year experience as an OT strongly preferred
