Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance in Somerville Hospital seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary clinical team. The OT conducts evaluations and provides group and individual treatment for child, adolescent and neurodevelopmental inpatient behavioral health units.

Responsibilities include contributing to the medical plan of care on the Somerville Campus, with 40 hours weekly, generally 8am–4:30pm, and occasional Saturday coverage and major/minor holidays.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current MA OT licensure.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an OT strongly preferred.
  • Inpatient child/adolescent behavioral health desired.

Responsibilities

  • The OT completes evaluations and provides groups and individual treatments on child/adolescent neurodevelopmental inpatient behavioral health units.
  • Works as part of the multidisciplinary clinical team caring for patients at the Somerville Hospital.
