Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Valid Texas OT license.
• 1+ year of related post-acute OT experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise OT Assistants.
• Proficient in documentation and billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Evaluate and treat patients with individualized care plans.
• Supervise and guide Certified OT Assistants as indicated.
• Educate patients and family/caregivers for home care.
• Complete accurate evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Maintain patient caseload per department productivity standards.
• Ensure timely documentation and billing for services.
• Identify equipment needs and ensure therapy equipment is safe.
• Participate in in-service trainings and team meetings.
