The role requires evaluating and treating patients with advanced clinical reasoning and supervising Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants as indicated by the state licensing board and professional associations.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, treatment planning, and family education, along with documentation, compliance with HIPAA, and participation in in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Valid State OT license.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care meeting standards; develop OT care plan and discharge planning.
• Evaluate for prosthetic, supportive devices, and equipment as appropriate.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants as indicated within scope of practice.
• Complete documentation including evaluations, plan of care, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Maintain caseload and adhere to productivity standards.
• Attend in-service training.
