Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in Missouri. The role emphasizes patient assessment, treatment planning, and coordination with hospital staff and agencies. You will schedule visits, document thoroughly, and adapt to changing conditions while maintaining confidentiality.

Two years of acute or home care experience are preferred; CPR certification and a valid driver’s license are required. Lifting up to 50 pounds is frequently needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state OT licensure and CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care settings.
• Preferred: two years of experience in acute care or home care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner and coordinate with the office daily.
• Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
• Handle confidential information and adapt to changing conditions; willing to drive in hazardous conditions when required.
