Job summary

Mercy is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Missouri. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited OT program with a current state license and CPR certification.

At least one year of experience across acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care is preferred, along with strong assessment and documentation skills. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state OT license and valid driver's license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds; frequent lifting.
• Demonstrates good communication, documentation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient visits independently and maintain daily updates.
• Collaborate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
• Provide assessment and treatment planning; adapt to change as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle emergencies as they arise.
