Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Kirkwood, MO to assess and treat patients across acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, and long-term care settings. You will apply your education from an accredited OT program, maintain licensure, and stay CPR certified, with a focus on patient-centered care.

The role requires strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work independently, and adapt to changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state OT license and valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care setting.
• Preferred: two years experience in acute care or home care.

Responsibilities

• Independently schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner; check in with the office daily to update schedule.
• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain regular contact with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff, and the public.
• Protect confidentiality and adapt to changing clinical needs; handle emergencies when needed.
