Contra Costa County Health Services Department is recruiting individuals on a continuous basis to fill journey level Occupational Therapist positions. Therapists may be assigned to the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and its Health Centers, or the California Children Services Programs located throughout the County.

Occupational Therapist II is a journey level classification. Incumbents perform a full range of general therapy treatments with a greater degree of independence and proficiency,

Competenze

• License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from AHA/Red Cross.

Mansioni

• Evaluates, plans and implements a full range of therapy treatments including self-care, mobility and cognition.
• Explains therapy recommendations to patients and families and provides education and training.
• Collaborates with other care providers and maintains records and reports.
