Job summary

UK King’s Daughters is seeking an Occupational Therapist to perform comprehensive evaluations and deliver individualized treatments in our Home Health program in Ashland, KY. You will assess patient needs, design interventions, and document care in line with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, educate patients and caregivers, and mentor rehab staff while maintaining licensure and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT required.
• Active Occupational Therapist license in applicable state (Kentucky) and BLS required.
• 0–2 years of OT, rehab, or related patient-care experience; paid work only.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapies and adaptive equipment provisions.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and determine discharge or continuation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care.
• Instruct rehab technicians and students; provide mentorship.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with standards.
• Support program development and service improvements.
