UK King’s Daughters in Ashland, Kentucky is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and provide treatments per physician orders, aiming to restore function and relieve pain in home health settings. You will document assessments and outcomes, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to program development while adhering to policies.

Formación

• Doctor of Physical Therapy with active licensure.
• 0–2 years of PT experience in rehab or patient care.
• Experience with home health preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses and redistributes resources to enhance Rehab Services.
• Participates in projects and activities to improve departmental operations.
• Bills appropriately and meets departmental productivity standards.
• Performs patient evaluations and delivers treatment for various diagnoses.
• Completes chart reviews and documents all aspects of patient care in the medical record.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to coordinate and discuss patient care plans.
• Educates patients and caregivers regarding care, restrictions, and precautions.
• Delegates responsibilities to PTAs and supervises students as appropriate.
• Provides or coordinates orientation, training, and education for staff and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
