Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy is required.
NBCOT certification is required.
State licensure to practice OT is required.

Responsibilities

Provide expert, evidence-based occupational therapy services to Veterans in home and community settings.
Independently evaluate Veterans’ occupational performance using medical records, interviews, observations, and assessments.
Address ADLs and IADLs, education, employment, leisure, and social participation in plans.
Develop collaborative, measurable intervention plans with Veterans and HUD-VASH team.
Deliver individualized or group interventions to improve ADLs, IADLs, and daily living skills.
Identify and train Veterans in use of durable medical equipment and adaptive equipment.
