Job summary

Essential Therapy Solutions, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess clients, develop individualized plans, and implement therapeutic activities in home settings. This role emphasizes collaboration with families and healthcare teams to improve daily living skills and overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have an OT degree (OTR/L or COTA), be eligible for licensure, and possess strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) or COTA credential.
• Must meet professional conduct rules and licensure requirements.
• Background check and Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to plan treatment.
• Develop individualized OT treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to enhance daily living skills.
• Educate patients and families on coping strategies and devices.
• Collaborate with other health professionals for comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Document evaluations, plans, and progress notes.
• Advocate for patient needs in schools or workplaces.
• Stay current with OT research and advancements.
