Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking an Occupational Therapist/OT to assist patients in their homes, improving daily living and motor function. The role includes delivering skilled care per physician orders and educating families and care teams under Branch Director supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an OT in the state where practicing.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be waived with appropriate regional approval.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients in the home improve daily living skills and basic motor functions.
• Develop strategies to compensate for loss of function and maintain independence.
• Provide skilled care per physicians' orders and care plans, teaching family and health care team as needed.
