Job summary

Essential Therapy Solutions, LLC seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess, plan and implement therapy for clients in their homes and community settings.

You will develop individualized plans, guide families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in OT or equivalent; licensed/certified as OT/R or COTA.
• Must complete background check and obtain fingerprint clearance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Implement therapeutic activities to enhance daily living skills and independence.
• Educate patients and families on coping strategies and devices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary; document evaluations and plans.
• Advocate for patient needs in schools, workplaces, and community settings.

Essential Therapy Solutions started in 2007 in response to the overwhelming number of families in our Arizona community requiring services. We obtained school contracts as well as becoming a Qualified Vendor with the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). We also contracted with other agencies holding Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) contracts to deliver services to the birth to 3 population.

Responsibilities:

• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Advocate for patient needs in various settings such as schools or workplaces
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Meet all prescribed professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as an Occupational Therapist including certifications and/or licensures
• Must be able to complete a successful background check and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus, but not required
