Job summary

Ascension at Home, together with Compassus, is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care in patients' homes in the Wichita area. You will assess home environments, design interventions, and promote independence and safety for daily living activities.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with families, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive, inclusive culture. Flexible scheduling is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current State License as an Occupational Therapist and valid Driver’s License.
• Current CPR, TB screen, and hepatitis consent/declination.
• Two years’ experience as an OT in acute care or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in their home.
• Help patients live safely and productively at home and complete daily tasks.
• Assist patients and families to adapt environment, modify tasks, and use equipment to improve participation and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
• Current State License as an Occupational Therapist
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current CPR, negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination
• Two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
