Job summary

Optimal Home Care in Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality OT services for our patients in the Westminster area.

You will assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions, coordinate with nurses, PTs, and social workers, and document progress while maintaining HIPAA privacy and AOTA standards.

The role emphasizes safety, ethical practice, and collaboration with families to support daily activities and independent living in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT program graduate.
• Licensed in Colorado and in good standing.
• Ability to communicate in client language and document activity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services compliant with AOTA standards and regulations.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy per HIPAA.
• Develop and implement plans of care in collaboration with clients.
• Coordinate with other agency disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document outcomes and progress within required timelines.
• Supervise COTA and other staff per regulations.
