Job summary

BayCare HomeCare in Tampa is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for home health services. The ideal candidate will have a Florida OT license, BLS, and at least one year of OT experience in home care, delivering hands-on therapy in patients' homes to support independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Active Florida OT licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License expected within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health occupational therapy services to a caseload of patients.
• Evaluate and develop individualized OT treatment programs.
• Provide clinical direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Deliver hands-on care in patients' homes and promote independence.

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Home visits in assigned service area:Hillsborough

The Home Health Occupational Therapist provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include :

Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy.

Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

Occupational Therapist State of Florida Licensure

Basic Life Support

Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)

Education:

Bachelors Occupational Therapy

Preferred Masters Occupational Therapy

Experience:

1 year Occupational Therapy experience

Preferred 1 year Home Care
