Select Physical Therapy in the Houston area is seeking an Occupational Therapist to pursue certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) within a year, or to join as an OT with a focus on hand therapy at our outpatient orthopedic center.

We welcome therapists who are working toward CHT, and who have Level II hand fieldwork. The role offers mentorship, education programs, and a supportive network for credentialing and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OT program.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• Stay current with OT research and apply evidence-based practice.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation, plan of care, treatment, and discharge.

Location: 605 Rockmead Suite 200, Kingwood Tx 77339

Schedule: Monday Through Friday

Compensation: $85,000 to $120,000 based on years of experience

Select Physical Therapy is seeking someone who is sitting for their CHT within a year or a current CHT Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
• Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
