Job summary

Focused Care at Pasadena in Pasadena, Texas is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy department. This role evaluates patients and develops occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and provides OT treatments including ADL retraining and cognitive techniques.

The OT will supervise the Occupational Therapy Assistant when assigned and coordinate the program with other health care providers to support patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Current license/registration by state of hire as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop OT treatment programs in collaboration with the physician.
• Provide OT treatments including ADL retraining and cognitive techniques.
• Instruct, motivate and assist patients in learning activities of daily living.
• Supervise the Occupational Therapy Assistant if assigned.
• Coordinate OT with other health care providers and disciplines.
