Qualifications

• Knowledge of Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatments.
• Ability to supervise and direct assistants and aides.
• Understanding of physical modalities used in Occupational Therapy.
• Knowledge of prosthetic and orthotic devices, ambulatory aids, and related training.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work with all types and levels of patients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Aids in restoration and enhancement of independence for patients.
• Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops treatment plans.
• Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides.
• Documents care and ensures billing alignment.
• Communicates patient progress with families and health team.
