Rockport Healthcare Services in Chico, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care within a dynamic rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise aides, and document progress to support independent living outcomes.

The role requires strong clinical skills, knowledge of occupational therapy modalities, and collaboration with families and physicians to optimize care. California OT licensure and CPR certification are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist per state requirements.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, or general rehab preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Aids in restoration and enhancement of independent function post-illness/injury.
• Evaluate and treat patients; document services.
• Supervise Certified OT Assistants and/or Aides.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and health team members.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain physician approvals.
• Document treatment notes, progress, and discharge summaries.
• Contribute to professional development of self and others.
• Educate team and families; participate in team conferences.
