Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13‑week contract in Barrett/Evansville, MN. The assignment includes 32–40 hours weekly, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends or holidays.

Settings are 75% SNF/LTC and 25% Home Health, offering housing assistance and dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment. You will supervise assistants as allowed, evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and educate families on home programs, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy with at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid state OT licensure (or currently in an OT educational program).
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background check required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state/federal laws.
• Evaluate patients and review medical history to identify impairments.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Teach therapeutic exercises and hands‑on techniques to support healing.
• Maintain documentation and track patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations.
• Handle administrative tasks including reports and HIPAA documentation.

Big Stone Staffing gives OT travelers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings—outpatient, long‑term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, and home health. We offer 13‑week contracts and support you with housing assistance, licensure navigation, and dedicated recruiter communication every step of the way.

Position Overview

Location: Barrett / Evansville, MN
Setting: 75% SNF/LTC; 25% HHP
Pay Package: Up to $2000/week
Guaranteed Hours: 32‑40 per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Flexible Days (No weekends, holidays, or call)
Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Qualifications
