Job summary

The Weston Group is actively seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, supervise assistants, and document services to support quality care and billing accuracy.

Responsibilities include evaluating new patients within 48 business hours, designing care plans with measurable goals, documenting progress, communicating with physicians and POA, and ensuring proper discharge planning and home programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Licensed by the state Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Criminal Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and timely evaluations with a care plan and measurable goals.
• Maintains documentation of all services for clinical and billing purposes.
• Re-evaluates progress and adapts treatment plans.
• Communicates with physicians and POA to determine discharge plans.
• Supervises assistants and rehab techs; coordinates patient care.
• Maintains patient dignity and rapport during treatment.
• Informs physicians of status and obtains approval for continued treatment.
• Ensures appropriate discharge planning and home program guidance.
