Job summary

The Weston Group is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians. This licensed professional will work within an interdisciplinary team, supervise assistants and rehab techs, document services, and participate in care planning across facilities.

Responsibilities include timely evaluations, designing care plans with measurable goals, maintaining records, and coordinating with physicians for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Licensed in the state practicing by the Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Criminal Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely evaluations for new patients referred by physicians.
• Design an appropriate plan of care with measurable short- and long-term goals.
• Document all services provided for clinical and billing purposes.
• Re-evaluate patients and adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Notify physician of patient status and obtain approval for continued treatment.
