Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Union in Union, NJ. This full-time opportunity offers an hourly wage of $42–$47 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans of care, and provide treatment focused on daily living activities, strength, balance, cognition, and functional performance. New graduate OT candidates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance.
• Establish meaningful goals based on each resident's abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Introduce adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on resident response.
• Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
