Job summary

S P O T, Inc is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers aged 0-3. The role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and therapy interventions addressing developmental delays, collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited college or school.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Specialization or experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sensory integration techniques, fine motor skills development, and adaptive equipment, developmental milestones and age-appropriate assessment tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess infants' and toddlers' motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and activities of daily living.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and in collaboration with the child's family and other healthcare professionals.
  • Providing therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care skills, and play skills.
  • Incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques into treatment sessions.
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide education, support, and home-based strategies for promoting optimal development and functional independence.
  • Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, professional development activities, and interdisciplinary evaluations as needed.
  • Supervision of COTAs

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team, specifically focusing on early intervention services. In this role, you will work closely with infants and toddlers aged 0-3 years and their families to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy interventions to address developmental delays or disabilities.
