Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Texas provides in-house therapy for Skilled Nursing facilities and offers an Occupational Therapy Assistant position with a competitive hourly rate ($38–$42). This role welcomes therapists at all experience levels and emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration with supervising OTs.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, document progress, and contribute to rehabilitation plans to enhance recovery and quality of life for patients. AA/EOE.

Qualifications

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
