Job summary

Corewell Health – Royal Oak Hospital in Royal Oak, MI seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team. You will evaluate and treat patients, educate families, and document care in accordance with department standards.

The role supports supervision of assistants and adherence to safety protocols. The position requires an OT license, completion of an accredited OT program and internship, BLS certification, and preferred rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited OT program.
• Successful completion of clinical internship.
• Current State OT license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous clinical rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and patient education.
• Monitor treatment activities of COTAs and aides.
• Complete evaluations of assigned patients per standards of care.
• Plan and provide treatment in line with established standards.
• Document services per department standards.
• Maintain licensure and provide evidence of status within two weeks of receipt.
