Job summary

Minds Matter LLC seeks a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to evaluate and treat clients in Wichita, KS. The role emphasizes improving independence through balance, motor, perceptual, and cognitive skills in daily activities.

Provide supervision to OT assistants, complete documentation, and collaborate with teams to integrate goals. Must hold an active KS or MO OT license and have completed an accredited OT program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited OT program.
• Active Kansas or Missouri OT license.
• Experience with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and implement Minds Matter philosophy in service delivery.
• Assist individuals to identify needs and develop compensatory techniques for brain injury.
• Perform evaluations addressing physical and mental abilities and determine therapy methods.
• Complete documentation per plan of care (evaluations, progress notes, etc.).
• Provide supervision to occupational therapy assistants and reviewers of daily notes.
• Collaborate with consumers and staff to assess goal progress and adjust plans.
• Attend team meetings and assist with goal setting.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and protect patient information.
