Job summary

Minds Matter LLC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support individuals recovering from brain injury, helping them regain daily living skills and independence through goal-directed therapy. You will implement therapy plans, document progress, educate families, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to reach personalized goals in home and community settings.

Qualifications

Successful completion of an occupational therapy assistant program from an accredited associate degree program.
Experience working with people with disabilities is appreciated.
Must hold a current OTA license in the state(s) of Kansas or Missouri.

Responsibilities

Learn and implement Minds Matter LLC principles.
Assist individuals to identify needs and develop compensatory techniques after brain injury.
Contribute to evaluations addressing physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data for therapy methods.
Evaluate and recommend changes to supervising OT for consumer needs.
Integrate employment, educational and independent living goals into therapy.
Collaborate with consumers and staff to monitor progress and adjust plans.
Maintain timely, goal-driven documentation and updates to plan of care.
