Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students in school-based settings across Washington. This 1099 contract role focuses on helping students build functional skills for independence and classroom participation.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families. A ACOTE-accredited degree, NBCOT-OTR, and a Washington license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• NBCOT certification (OTR) in good standing.
• Active Washington OT license, or initiation of licensure transfer.
• Knowledge of IDEA, the IEP process, and educational OT model.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct school-based occupational therapy evaluations and reevaluations.
• Develop individualized, functional IEP goals; provide individual and small-group OT services.
• Support student needs in fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation; recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff on accommodations and strategies.
