Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist for an upcoming academic year. This full-time contract role serves a single school site, with a caseload of 50+ students and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

You will deliver OT services aligned to IEPs, participate in team meetings, track progress, and provide consultative support to teachers and staff, helping students develop learning, self-care, and participation skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold, or be eligible for, an Occupational Therapy license in Washington state.
• Minimum of 1 year of school-based OT experience.
• Proficient in evaluations, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload.
• Excellent communication with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

Step into a dynamic and rewarding opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment, supporting a diverse student population and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and professionals.

You’ll work at a single school site, providing vital OT services to over 50 students on your caseload. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. Your contract will begin on August 27 and continue until a direct hire is secured, giving you a consistent schedule as you deliver essential therapy and support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington State
• At least one year of experience in school-based OT settings
• Proficient in evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload efficiently
• Excellent communication abilities for interacting with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
