Thrive Therapies Group is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) to conduct school-based OT evaluations and reevaluations for K-12 students in Washington.
This is an evaluations-only 1099 opportunity with a highly flexible schedule. Choose the days and times you are available during the school day and take on as many or as few hours as you want.
Whether you're looking to supplement your current position, work a few hours each week, or take on a larger evaluation caseload, we can work around your availability.
Conduct school-based occupational therapy evaluations and reevaluations for K-12 students
Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, functional performance, and classroom participation
Identify student needs related to adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications, as appropriate
Complete clear, timely evaluation reports and required documentation
Collaborate with school teams regarding evaluation findings and recommendations, as needed
Participate in evaluation-related meetings when required
Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
Active Washington OT license
Strong evaluation, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage evaluation responsibilities within required timelines
School-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience
Experience conducting pediatric or school-based evaluations
Experience supporting K-12 students
Sensory integration training
Experience with adaptive equipment, AAC, or assistive technology
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings
